LI Master Gardener Photo Contest Details

March 18, 2026 to June 3, 2026

For our next quarterly contest the Topics will be:

2. I WILL SURVIVE

3. MY FAVORITE PICTURE

Entries Due: Wednesday June 3rd

Voting: Sun 6/7 to Friday 6/12

Winners: Announced on Wednesday June 17

Submit Your Photo

Bragging Rights!
Five raffle tickets at the next meeting, when winners are announced.
Winners’ names and photos displayed prominently on the LIMG website.
A large printout will be made for each of the 3 winning photos each quarter, and displayed at the meetings.
In December a Grand Winner from all of the quarterly winners will be chosen at the Christmas party and will get accolades and confetti and maybe a song!!

Future Category Ideas:

During the year, LIMG will have four mini photo contests, one each quarter.

Each participant may submit one photo for each of the three categories, and must indicate for which category a particular photo is intended.
Include a caption for your photo. You can identify the plant, or make a witty pun. Your caption can help your photo win!
Only 2025 dues paid members are eligible to submit photos and vote on winners.
Photos on the Topics of the Quarter can be submitted digitally via email to jac0@me.com or by clicking on the button above.
Photos must be current and taken by the member. Cropping and slight adjustments are acceptable.
Photographers do not have to submit photos to all of the categories.
2025 dues paid members can vote for winners using our Survey form which will be sent to current members via email.
Winners will be announced on the website, via email and at the monthly meeting following the end of the current contest.
